Thomas Atkinson

Chief Technical Analyst

Thomas Atkinson is the Chief Technical Analyst and Founder of FXE Trading Academy. With over 17 years of market experience, Thomas leads the Technical, Macro, and Fundamental Analysis teams, delivering market insights to traders around the world.

Thomas holds a Master's degree in Financial Planning, the Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) designation awarded by the International Federation of Technical Analysts, an Accredited Derivatives Advisor Level 2 (ADA 2) accreditation, and multiple ASIC-regulated RG-146 certificates.

Alongside his market analysis work, Thomas has built a global trading community of over 246,000 followers, sharing financial market insights and engaging with traders worldwide.

Tyrone Abela

Head of Investment Management

Tyrone Abela is the Head of Investment Management and Co-Founder of FXE Trading Academy, established in 2010. With a strong focus on developing adaptive trading strategies, Tyrone has created approaches designed to navigate changing market conditions and the complexities of global financial markets.

Tyrone holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, an Authorized Derivatives Advisor Level 2 (ADA 2) accreditation, a Master of Financial Technical Analysis (MFTA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and the Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations.

Founded in Australia in 2010 by Tyrone Abela and Thomas Atkinson, it began with a simple idea — share the technical analysis insights and risk-management thinking they wished had been available when they were starting out.

Sixteen years on, the same two founders still lead the research and still teach every course.
